The course will highlight the importance of team communication and understanding professional boundaries of individuals within the MDT team. We will also examine how MDT working can potentially increase risks in processes such as patient access, safe prescribing, safety netting and follow up. Attendees will participate in case discussions and explore practical tips to improve patient safety with MDT working in their practice.
This course will be led by Kay Louise Grant, MDDUS risk adviser.
Upon completion, a certificate detailing 2.5 hours of verifiable CPD will be provided by MDDUS to all attendees.
