CPD in dentistry will be the focus of a national conference being held by the GDC on Tuesday 17 April 2012.
A wide range of speakers from across the four UK countries will consider CPD and professionalism, the effectiveness of CPD in dentistry and how it contributes to quality dental care, and examining quality and access to CPD. The conference will also consider registrant perspectives on CPD.
Among the speakers attending are Kevin O'Brien, Chair of the General Dental Council, Barry Cockcroft, Chief Dental Officer for England, Judith Husband, Vice-Chair of the British Dental Association and Donncha O'Carolan, Chief Dental Officer for Northern Ireland.
It will be of particular interest to those involved in developing, designing and delivering CPD for dental professionals, but anyone with an interest is welcome to attend.
The one-day conference is free and will be held at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London W1B 1AD between 10.00am - 4.00pm. Register on the GDC website.
