MIMS launches smartphone app

  • Date: 24 June 2011

The prescribing reference MIMS has now launched an application for Android and iPhone.

MIMS has long been available in print – updated every month – and in recent years online via mims.co.uk. The launch of the Android and iPhone apps is intended to provide a convenient companion for print and online versions.

MIMS for smartphone offers a predictive search to quickly find information on over 2,000 medicines and the ability to browse by brand or generic name and to find products by manufacturer and therapeutic area. It also includes clinical calculators.

To get the new app go to Android Market or search 'MIMS Prescribing' in iTunes or your app store. A one-off download of the MIMS app provides access to free instant updates.
