GPs and practice managers are invited to attend one of a series of free nationwide seminars run by Capsticks Solicitors LLP focused on managing practice premises.
The seminars will be highly practical and will focus on new surgery developments and extensions, sale and leaseback, and lease regularisation. They will also explore some practical issues and advice around confidential data security, including a review of common areas within a typical GP practice where breaches of confidentiality occur and how to protect against this.
In addition to Capticks lawyers, the seminars will also feature a panel of expert speakers including GP surveyors and advisers from the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland and Lloyds Bank. The seminars in London and Birmingham seminars will also include representatives from specialist medical accountants Macintyre Hudson and, at the Leeds seminar, BHP Chartered Accountants.
Participants can expect some lively debate with presentations and workshops, along with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and to network with peers over coffee and lunch.
