ISSUES around consent are the focus of the latest video presentations from MDDUS Risk Management.
The first 10-minute video – module 1 – covers the basic facts a doctor must understand and is designed to help them have appropriate discussions with patients about consent.
Module 2 then builds on this knowledge to explore the topic further, taking a closer look at the special circumstances surrounding consent when patients lack capacity, both in adults and children.
The videos – available exclusively to MDDUS members – are aimed at trainees but will be useful to doctors of all grades and specialties.
