Wayne joined MDDUS in 2026 with a background in clinical practice and operational leadership across NHS acute, urgent and primary care. He trained as an Operating Department Practitioner before working as a Physician Associate and undertaking additional study in Clinical Psychiatry. He later became a Clinical Team Leader in urgent care, with responsibility for clinical governance, complaints and service development. He works with members and their teams to support the identification and management of active and emerging risks.
