Lucy obtained a degree in geography at the University of Birmingham. She then completed a Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BBP Law School. Following this Lucy worked as a paralegal for a claimant clinical negligence law firm. Prior to joining the MDDUS Lucy worked in the Legal Department of a large NHS Trust. Lucy joined the MDDUS in May 2015 and has experience of clinical negligence claims, regulatory law and inquests.
