Ioana read Law at the University of Nottingham, graduating in 2015. She completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Moorgate in 2016, and qualified as a solicitor in 2021. 
 
Prior to joining MDDUS’ in-house legal team in 2025, Ioana worked in private practice at several highly ranked UK firms, working with well-known insurers and their insureds, as well as NHS Resolution and Trusts. Ioana was recognised by the Legal 500 2025 for Professional Discipline. Ioana has experience in clinical negligence claims, inquests and regulatory matters and has assisted a wide range of healthcare providers and clinicians, including a case which was heard in the Court of Appeal.
