Harriet qualified as a solicitor in 2014. She trained at RadcliffesLeBrasseur and qualified into the Mental Health/Care Homes team, advising in Coroner’s inquests, as well as matters involving the CQC and Police. In 2016, Harriet joined Hill Dickinson LLP as an Associate in the Health Advisory team. She acted for NHS Trusts and private providers in Coroner’s inquests, frequently acting in lengthy multi-party inquests concerning deaths in custody. Harriet also advised on the Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. She now specialises in professional regulation, inquests and clinical negligence claims. Harriet read History at The University of Edinburgh, before studying at the University of Law in Bristol. She joined MDDUS in 2019.
