Lynne graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2000 where she studied Medical Ethics and Law as part of her BA Medical Sciences degree. She completed her clinical medicine training at University College London in 2003 and completed higher surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in the East of England and gained FRCS (Tr & Orth) in 2015. Lynne passed the Diploma of Legal Medicine with distinction in 2020, and joined MDDUS in May 2023.
