Medico-legal Adviser

Kitty qualified as a doctor in 2005. She trained in anaesthetics and intensive care, achieving the FRCA in 2011. Alongside her clinical role she sat on the First-tier Tribunal (Social Security and Child Support), the MPTS and the GDC Fitness to Practise panels. 

She moved into medico-legal work at another defence organisation, completing an MA in Medical Law at Kings’ College London and the DLM. After nine years, Kitty worked in a number of roles including Clinical Communication lecturer, Clinical Policy advisor at DWP and lay Fitness to Practise committee member at the NMC. 

Kitty joined MDDUS in 2025, bringing extensive regulatory and medico-legal experience to the medical division.
