Communication risks for admin and reception teams in primary care

Taking place on Tuesday, 26 November between 09.30am and 11.30am, this two hour, interactive course is designed for admin and reception teams working in primary care

It is important that staff, who are usually on the front line, can identify common (and emerging) areas of risk in terms of communication, and overcome barriers with both patients and colleagues to ensure safer practice.

Processes such as care navigation and workflow optimisation will be examined and delegates will be able to explore the use of appropriate methods of communication for specific purposes.

Delegates will have the opportunity during the workshop to explore relevant issues with other delegates in virtual breakout rooms, and consider how these risks can be mitigates.

This course is led by MDDUS risk adviser, Kay Grant.

Upon completion, a certificate detailing two hours of verifiable CPD will be provided by MDDUS to all attendees.
