Resilience and wellbeing workshop

Taking place on Friday, 12 July between 9.30am and 3.30pm, this course is designed for any clinician practising in the UK.

Are you experiencing the symptoms of burnout?

Join MDDUS and the Resilient Practice team for an interactive day and experience a host of practical evidenced based tool and techniques that really work. Including meditations with purpose, visualisation exercises and practical skills.

After this workshop you will have:

  • An understanding of the deeper aspects of the Psyche
  • The ability to reframe your mindset
  • Learned how to down regulate negative body chemistry in the moment
  • Gained the skills to fully process significant events
  • Experienced the power of meditation
  • Learned the art of Mindful Practice and practising mindfully
  • Acquired advanced communication skills
  • Become a master of your own responses in all situations

Delegates will also receive a copy of the ‘How to Rise’ text book and accompanying electronic workbook, a series of worksheets to use and share and ongoing support via our website and peer support group.

The course will be delivered by Dr Karen Forshaw (GP) and Chrissie Mowbray (Physiotherapist, Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist with CBT and NLP training) our training partners at Resilient Practice. Visit the website for examples of some of their tools and techniques.

The course will be hosted by the MDDUS training and CPD team.

A certificate detailing 5 hours of verifiable CPD will be provided by MDDUS to all attendees.

To take part in this workshop:

  • You must be able to access and join a Zoom meeting from whatever device you choose to use.
  • Participants require a PC or laptop which has either a webcam and microphone integrated (or attached). Alternatively delegates can use a tablet/phone (although some functionality may be unavailable and you may not be able to see all delegates).
  • Participants must be willing to share their names and webcam with other participants whilst attending the workshop.
  • The Training & CPD team at MDDUS will email you joining instructions to attend the course of your choice a few days before the event.
