GDPR training day - London

Over an interactive day, medical and dental practice managers can learn about the principles of the regulation and requirements such as provacy notices, accountability by design and default and breach notification.

The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect from May 25, 2018, when it supersedes the UK Data Protection Act 1998. The regulation brings a 21st century approach to data protection and expands the rights of individuals to control how their personal information is collected and processed. It also places a range of new responsibilities on organisations to be more accountable for data protection.

Across the training day you will learn about the principles of the regulation and about requirements such as privacy notices, accountability by design and default and breach notification. We will look at what the new obligations mean for you and by the end of the day you will have a plan of how you will start to prepare your practice.

The training day is open to MDDUS practices and is aimed at medical and dental practice managers.
