Confidentiality in practice workshop - London

GPs and practice managers can learn how to mitigate the most common risks associated with patient confidentiality in practice.

Preserving confidentiality is essential to ensuring the delivery of safe patient care.

This interactive workshop will focus on the areas of practice, and specific systems, within which patient confidentiality is most commonly breached, along with consideration of the individual and practice consequences of a breach. Case examples will be used to highlight the risks, ways in which these can be mitigated. Time will also be allocated to understand the key circumstances in which disclosing information may be appropriate or necessary.

The training day is open to both MDDUS members and non-members and is aimed at practice managers and GPs.
