London hosts international conference on medical professional liability

AN conference focused on key developments and insights in medical professional liability is being held this year in London.

The PIAA International Conference 2017 – Change and Disruption: Strategies for managing the evolution of medical liability will take place on October 4-6 at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel, London.

The PIAA is a trade association based in the USA representing domestic and international medical professional liability (MPL) insurance companies, risk retention groups, captives, trusts, mutual indemnity organisations and other entities. The conference will bring together more than 250 global insurance and risk professionals and provide an opportunity to hear from a "diverse range of expert speakers with insightful perspectives for all medical liability and health insurance professionals".

Attendees will include company managers and board members, patient safety and risk management experts, actuaries, corporate and defence counsel, physicians, dentists and other healthcare professionals.
