Dental indemnity declaration

  • Date: 30 August 2016

THE GDC has announced that 96 per cent of dental care professionals (DCPs) successfully renewed their registration this summer by paying their annual retention fee and making a declaration of adequate and appropriate indemnity.

This is the first year that an annual declaration of indemnity was required as part of registration renewal in compliance with legislation passed in 2014.

November 2016 will be the first time dentists will be required to complete an indemnity declaration as part of their annual renewal process. For more information visit the GDC website.
