MDDUS specialist employment law advisers answered 1,222 telephone calls in 2015 and opened 203 new case files – increases of 1.1 per cent and 3.1 per cent.
MDDUS is the only defence organisation to provide members who have employment responsibilities with access to a specialised in-house team who deal only with medical and dental practices and give advice and guidance on HR and employment law matters.
The service has been running for six years and continues to receive excellent feedback from members, grateful for the level of support they receive.
The most popular topics of advice are contractual issues, managing long and short-term absence, social media use and managing performance issues.
