MDDUS PM Conference 2019 – save the date

PRACTICE managers across the UK are being invited to save the date for the next MDDUS’ Practice Manager’s Conference on November 28 and 29, 2019.

The popular two-day event will once again be held at the Fairmont, St Andrews and will offer delegates a packed schedule of workshops and masterclasses as well as the chance to network with fellow professionals.

A core theme of this year's conference will be managing risk and achieving best practice within new models care.

It follows the success of the 2017 event which was praised by delegates as "interesting and informative" and providing "lots of food for thought". Among the topics covered by our expert speakers was complaints handling, the risks of using locum GPs, managing difficult patients, technology risks, transgender patients and dealing with employee absence. Gerry Devine from FPM also joined the line-up with talks on practice resilience and practice business.

A programme for the 2019 event is still being finalised, but managers can email risk@mddus.com to express their interest, or keep an eye on the Training & CPD Events page for updates. We will also announce it on our twitter feed @MDDUS_News
