Mark O’Reilly


Medical practice adviser and qualified solicitor (Scotland)

Mark graduated with a law degree from the University of Glasgow in 2009, having worked in a GP practice during his studies. Following a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Mark began a traineeship with a Glasgow law firm specialising in healthcare litigation. During this time, he continued his postgraduate studies in medical law. In 2012, Mark qualified as a Solicitor and Notary Public, while also graduating from the University of Glasgow with a Masters in Medical Law. Mark joined the NHS as a solicitor in 2014, before moving to an international medical defence organisation in 2016. Mark joined MDDUS as a Practice Adviser in 2019. Mark is also a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Health and Medical Law Sub-Committee.
