Maria read Law at the University of Sheffield and graduated with a first-class degree in 2019. She joined MDDUS as a Paralegal in February 2021, became a Case Assistant in October 2022, and obtained an in-house Training Contract in April 2024. She then successfully completed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (‘SQE’) during her Training Contract and qualified into the legal department in November 2025. She has experience in clinical negligence claims, regulatory proceedings, and Coroner’s inquests. Maria is also a certified Mental Health First Aider and part of the Association of Mental Health First Aiders.
