Katy has specialised in healthcare law since she qualified as a solicitor in 2012. She trained at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (now Clyde & Co) and subsequently joined Capsticks LLP in 2012. Katy has experience of defending complex, high-value clinical negligence claims against NHS Trusts, private doctors and other healthcare professionals. Katy also has experience of advising medical malpractice insurers on indemnity issues. Katy has a degree in law from the University of Leeds and studied the LPC at the College of Law in Moorgate. She joined MDDUS in August 2016.
