Peter McDonald



Peter is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon at Northwick Park and St. Mark’s Hospital, Harrow, Middlesex, and runs a busy NHS and private practice. He has served as clinical director and chairman of the Medical Staff Committee. He is a past president of the Section of Surgery and honorary editor of the Royal Society of Medicine. He has extensive medico-legal experience and has been very much involved and written about the medical manslaughter case involving Mr David Sellu. A well-known medical writer, his interests include teaching and property development - the latter making him well-suited to be Chairman of the MDDUS Property Board. (Appointed to the Board in 2010)
