Elective Travel Scholarship

The MDDUS administers the British Medical and Dental Students Trust (BMDST), a charitable organisation offering travel scholarships to medical and dental students undertaking electives abroad.

Successful applicants can be awarded between £100 and £1,000.

Application dates

For elective periods from April to September - apply by 31st January (Trustees meet in March)
For elective periods from October to March - apply by 31st July (Trustees meet in September)
