MDDUS risk management training events usually take place in our Glasgow or London offices, but they can also be brought to your area, team or workplace.
All our risk management training courses are interactive, scenario-based or task-based to maximise your experience. Most courses are multidisciplinary but can be tailored to suit different disciplines or specialities where necessary.
We often work with training partners who are experts in their particular area of risk management training. This allows us to offer a wider choice of team training options.

Managing risk is essential in any business and working within primary care has high stakes due to the nature of the business. Patient safety, legislation, regulations and people management are just some of the areas of risk you manage on a day to day basis but do you have a clear framework for managing risk within your practice? Every organisation has aims and objectives and your practice is no different. This course provides a general understanding of where risk sits within the wider corporate, clinical governance frameworks and provides tools and techniques on how your practice can maximise opportunities as well as control and minimise the risk of failing to achieve your goals.
This course is delivered by Laura Anne McMahon, Risk Consultant with Offrisk Consulting who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in relation to managing risk in primary care. Laura Anne is also a Practice Manager in a GP practice and the feedback from her courses has been excellent.
