THE UK Foundation Programme Office has set out the different procedures for recruitment to specialty training in UK countries outside England.
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland began recruiting from December 4 until December 18 for entry in 2010.
In Scotland: Applicants for specialty training have been able to register and enrol since mid-November at www.scotmt.scot.nhs.uk . The site contains comprehensive information on opportunities for hospital and GP specialty training in Scotland and life as a doctor including case studies and video clips.
Wales: There is a dedicated website containing information on specialty training in Wales at www.mmcwales.org
Northern Ireland: Applying for specialty posts in Northern Ireland is done at HSCRecruit.com
Full details on the process can be found on the NIMDTA website
