June launch for new medical tribunal service

THE GMC will launch the new Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) on 11 June.

The MPTS will run all fitness to practise panel and interim orders panel hearings for the medical profession in the UK and will be operationally separate from the GMC and accountable to Parliament.
