The GDC is looking for views on its new guidance on ethical advertising.
The purpose is to ensure that all information or publicity material such as flyers or adverts about dental services are "legal, decent, honest and truthful".
The GDC’s ethical guidance Standards for dental professionals sets a number of expectations relevant to advertising and the new guidance will provide more detailed information on what is expected of dental professionals in this regard. The consultation looks at a number of issues including:
